Our Goal

RECYCLED LABELLING

It's all in the details. We have focuses on incorporating all aspects of our product to be considered - so we made all our woven trims out of 100% Polyester from recycled post consumer fibres and all our paper card labelling to be fairtrade recycled paper.

RECYCLED FABRICS

We aim to use recycled fibres where we can which are fibres that have been reused, reclaimed or recycled. Recycling avoids reusable material that otherwise would have ended up in landfills or in waste streams affecting our environment. Recycling also has a lower impact on the environment overall especially over producing and using virgin fibres.

ORGANIC FABRICS

We aim to use organic fibres where we can which are natural fibres grown without the use of synthetic pesticides, insecticides, or herbicides and GMOs (Genetic Modified Organisms). Organic agriculture is a production process that sustains the health of ecosystems, soils and people which has a reduced impact on the environment.

FAIRTRADE FABRICS

We aim to use fairtrade certified for all our wood derived fabrics and materials. That means our products focus on sustainable forest management from the world’s most trusted sustainable forest management solution organisations that not only provide environmental but also social and economic benefits as well.

BETTER COTTON

We aim to use fairtrade cotton fibres where ever we can. We aim to make global cotton production better for the people who produce it, better for the environment it grows in and better for the sector’s future. Fairtrade cotton aims to transform cotton production worldwide by developing fairtrade cotton as a sustainable mainstream commodity.

NON-TOXIC DYES

We aim to have all our products free from all toxic dyes. We aim to ensure the effect the dyeing industry has on the environment is minimised and the garments are safe for consumers as well as the people who make and sell them.

RESPONSIBLE SOURCING

We seek to find and work with factory owners and management who share our values, operate a culture of dignity and respect, are in for the long term, and who like us are willing to embrace change and continuous improvement on making considered and eco-conscious items.
